" Madam, I apologize but you are mistaken. I am sorry to inform you that you are… dead… as of five centuries ago… like me too! "
Yvette, maidservant of Diane of Poitiers
Performance commissioned for the thirteenth Arlempdes Theatre Festival, held in the ruins of a XII century medieval castle in Auvergne.
The play revisits in a light-hearted way episodes from the castle’s history and its inhabitants: Diane of Poitiers, Henri II, Catherine de Médicis, revolutionaries…
A universe with plenty of colour and diversion, accompanied by upbeat music from Emir Kosturica.
The small village of Arlempdes (Auvergne) was voted one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. As of thirteen years ago, the village hosts an original festival in an atypical setting: the medieval Castle of Arlempdes on the banks of the river Loire.

Arlempdes Castle, the first castle on the Loire river.
